Why do I get "out of memory" errors frequently?

Question

I have used this program for converting batch images into .cbz format, which works for the most part. However, when trying to convert a .pdf, the program hangs about halfway then gives me a "out of memory" error. I've just run this after startup, when there's little to nothing taxing 16gb of RAM, so i'm unsure whether it's something on my end (i've tried running the installer And the executable as admin), or a stack overflow issue within the code itself. This does happen if I try to convert one file after another, as well.

I'd love to hear some feedback as to whether this is a minor issue or something that's been noted before, as this has been happening since I found this a year or two ago. Thanks!!

I have the same problem. I managed to convert a pdf file, my PC memory is OK, I killed everything that could "eat" it but for most files that I try to convert I get the "Out of memory" error. Here is the log:
