Error (USBLoggerReadSetupConfiguration)-bad checksum

Question

I have a logger that throughs up an error when you press the setup Data Logger Button. The error:
Error (USBLoggerReadSetupConfiguration)-bad checksum
then another pop up when you acknolage the above pop up that says:
Access violation at address 00402A49 in module 'hanlog32usb.exe'
Read of address 00000081.
Any Ideas??

I have the exact same problem with Hanwell 4000 series data logger. In addition, the screen of my dl is flashing continuously. The funny thing is, the Hanwell support service is ignoring my problem and not offering any solution. Quite enough to not recommend them ever again to anyone.
