I have just purchased a new computer;I have Embrillance Thumbnailer installed; I have transferred my embroidery designs but can only view them in Studio III, why?

My old computer ran Windows 7, my new computer runs Windows 10. My Studio III is version 3.0
I can only view my embroidery designs in Studio III. I am unable to make desktop file folders and transfer designs into them. Why?
