When I go to Hotmail, the 3DS refuses to check whatever mail I got - it shows the box where I clicked, but nothing happens.

Hotmail requires latest Java technology to properly display all elements inside the e-mail client and since the device doesn't have full Java support you will most likely encounter errors like the one you are currently experiencing.

Well mine used to work fine, my mail and password were stored in the browser and all I had to do was click on my bookmark to check my mail folders on hotmail. A week ago I was forced to change my password (got hacked or something) so when I opened the bookmark on the 3DS the Sign In window appeared (as you should expect since the password stored didn't work anymore) but when I click in the box to enter the mail or the password nothing happens. The virual keyboard is supposed to pop up but it just doesn't, I tried everything from changing to the pc site, nada, erasing all cookies and history, nada, restoring browser to original settings, nada. If somebody finds a workaround please tell, I'll keep trying and post if anything changes

Same with mine. Perhaps someone should take it up with Nintendo or something. In the mean while, I'm going to set up my emails that I want to look at so that they get forwarded to another email carrier. It is extremely annoying, this problem. Maybe it has something to do with a recent update.
