In order to avoid this problem, you should install Picasa (application) and then sync it with the account where the pictures are. You will see that this approach is more comfortable then extracting the album. Also, after you install Picasa, it will automatically detect links with albums, so in case you receive a photoshare stored on Google then Picasa will automatically get all the pictures for you.
