How to Rotate object on the vertical plane in planner 5D

I am trying to use a glass partition as a stair rail but cannot rotate the object on the vertical plane

hi I had the same issue and I've finally found out. So I share the solution with you guys : while clicking on the rotating button with your mouse, click on shift button on the keybord hope this would help Houda
