Partial answer: some icons are not available on both versions (standard and common GUI). If an icon is missing, switch to the other GUI.
Steps to switch - advance, system options, advance, icon type, select either common or standard, apply, OK and close program and restart.

The Raynen QiLi KnitCAD 2018 instructions does not seem to have lists of the steps needed to do the various tasks such as create, register and save a package.
My learning would be much faster if such lists of all the steps needed to complete all the different tasks needed to do some knitting where included in the instruction manual.
The Operating specification is fine as far as a list of rules is concerned, but there does not seem to be any guidance for how to use the rules. It seems to assume a certain amount of "pre-knowledge". And I have no idea what the arrow heads, dots and pointed finger are supposed to mean?
Also there seem to be quite a few words that have been used incorrectly. Such as "the thumb" I think you mean "package pattern".
Another challenge for English readers is an instruction with circular logic.
Part way through chapter ten you read an instruction that says:
“ Find out the rule of Package before creating it, which is the minimum cycle unit.”
This is difficult to understand because it appears part-way through the package instruction. To me, the first half of the sentence should be in the introduction to Package.
To get an instruction to read the rules part way through the rules is circular logical that cannot be resolved and therefore is a logical nonsense.
The meaning of the last half of the sentence would seem to be completely lost. It reads like it should be in the section dealing with the cycle instructions in chapter 9.1
There are several other confusing instructions that I would be happy to list if that would be helpful to you.
