I have a Mediatek GPS and would like to know how and where I can get maps for South-East Asia, for example.

Your device comes with a Support CD which contains the necessary software for maps downloading and updating. The software will install the drivers needed for the device, then you should plug the device in using the USB cable provided and start the application. From the main interface you will have the possibility to purchase, upgrade, transfer or download new maps.

what if your's didn't come with a CD can you download. like mine has no cd to do the install.?

Don't buy this device!!! I made the biggest mistake buying it online. No maps were on the device. No support CD, no SD card. A lot of Chinese sellers selling this online just to cheat you. When I contacted MediaTek, they claim they are not GPS manufacturer. What the hell!!!

Same experience here. Is there anyone out therfe who can help us put some maps on this device

I am having the same trouble, My neighbor got one as well, would love to know where to a maps for New Zealand.
