Optical Disc Doctor has been developed to work only with the LG drives. If you try to run it but it doesn't find an optical drive, then it means it doesn't have support for.
Additionally, go to Device Manager (Start > Run > devmgmt.msc) and check to see if all the available components are installed properly and by properly I mean that no item is listed with a an exclamation or a red X.
