Electronic Signature in PDF files

I was attempting to merge two PDF files using Paper Port. The problem I was experiencing is that one of the PDF's includes electronic signatures and when I merge the two files, I lose the signatures. Is there a way to combine the files without losing the signatures?

If you were to merge one PDF document with a particular signature with another that had a different signature, or no signature at all, you would obtain a partially signed document. Unfortunately, PDFs just cannot function that way. One solution would be to re-apply the initial signature to the final, merged document. Another way you could work around this issue is to include both PDF documents into the same PDF portfolio.
