I have a what I call a small wallet drive that has my medical records on it and I would like to place a viewer on there with my records. For emergency use when I travel over seas.

I've installed Viscom Store DICOM Viewer and based on the interface and its available options, it seems that it does support one directory only to load the files. The software should support any type of directory as long as it's available and contains images, therefore it won't matter the way you store your files. It won't work with online storage drives, but 100 % compatible with shared directories across the network.

I've tested the application with a network directory and it works just fine. Make sure to map it accordingly in Computer/My Computer. It even works with cloud folders that are synchronized with online services.
