I don't think that's possible because I've installed Advanced PDF Tools and loaded a few PDF files, but nothing changed when I used the output mode.

I've also added multiple PDF documents and tweaked the settings to allow multiple pages, but the field where the PDF files are listed is actually used for batch support and nothing more.

Since the application is in trial mode, I suggest you download it to test its functionality.
