To get rid of those bad items, download a copy of AdwCleaner and save all your work then run the program. Make sure that you're connected to the Internet as well for the database update provided with the AdwCleaner.
Press on the Scan button to initiate the procedure. At the end, press on Clean and follow the instructions provided by the AdwCleaner product.
