I have an ArcSoft Total Media HDCam 2.0. We filmed several (98) short clips that I would like to merge into one file. The software seems to limit me to 8 clips at a time, and it is quite slow. Is there a way to speed this process up?

You can try Windows Movie Maker because it has no limit on how many video files you can import. Simply, add all your files to the library and then, using drag and drop, add them to the timeline. The software will arrange all your videos, and after that you can perform additional customization. When you are done editing, use the publish/export option and save the video to a format you like.

If you are looking for a video merge to combine short clips without quantity limitation and desire quick speed, Joyoshare Video Joiner is a good option to consider. It supports different formats and allows you to merge them into one. The speed is fast, which claims up to 60X.

You can try or find more video joiner software here
