Yes, you can import text from another application into ProPresenter. The method is through Copy-Paste, but before pasting the text, you'll have to create a slide and then adding a text section, then simply use CTRL + V to paste the text and adjust it as necessary.
To display only text, create a new project and choose the template for text only. While in the edit mode, press the T button to enable the input form, then click or double click the form to enter the desired text.
