GOG version of the Crime Cities games.

Question

I have windows 7 64 bit and a GOG copy of the game tries to run with any of the Direct3D and other software out there like OpenGL. Anyway, I have the game set to default and the main menu lags even though when the game starts it's got some video files that play 100% correctly.

Any help would be welcome.

I know that games from the GOG website are modified to work on newer versions of Windows including 7, 8, 8.1 and 10. Almost every game that I tried from that website worked "out of the box".

If you have issues with it, I suggest applying compatibility tweaks. Right click the executable file and choose Properties > Compatibility. Choose a previous version of Windows from that list and then run it.

Additionally, install the latest updates for your drivers (graphics and sound) as well.
