There is no need to install a patch since Adobe Acrobat XI Pro already contains the virtual driver that enables you to "print" to PDF from any application that has this feature bundled within.
Alternatively, if you feel that Adobe Acrobat XI Pro doesn't meet your demands, you can always install another solution called CutePDF Writer. It's basically the same thing, but free and with a few features
