I cannot create a socket, what is wrong?

I've tried the software as well, and I'm receiving the same error. It says: Cannot set socket. Based on this message, I can say that TCP Traceroute is an incompatible application. However, Windows already features a built-in traceroute application. It's called tracert and can be activated from the Command line (Windows + R).

Or if you prefer apps with GUI, then use the ones from the following list.

i am getting the same error "cannot create socket" this seems to be the issue with the application and they have not fixed it.

I needed this trace using TCP cause ICMP is blocked on most of the websites for that reason tracrt will not be usefull.

Please let me know if anyone was able to fix the socket error
