I'd like to keep my favorites and contacts from AOL as I move off of the AOL Desktop that they will be discontinuing.
There is an application called SysTools AOL PFC Viewer that is capable of opening PFC files from AOL Desktop without the need to have AOL Desktop installed on your PC. Simply download the application from the application's page at Software Informer and install it. Make sure to use Run as Administrator to avoid any issues then open it, load the files and you should have the possibility to browse them. I've tested it and it works just fine without errors.
