Headset mic not working after Windows update on 17-07-06. Driver history shows that IntcAzAudAddService was added then. The driver seems to be working correctly. The sound is ok, but mic not. The mic is set to default and the sound level is set 50.

I've seen the error related to IntcAzAudAddService on various forums as well. There were users who had the same problem with the update. The safest way to overcome this issue is to reinstall the driver provided by the manufacturer of your motherboard. Simply reinstall the one added through Windows Update and download the one from the manufacturer's website. It shouldn't matter if it was released for a different version of Windows, but as long it's XP or Windows 7, you should be fine.
