I have a Pixma MG3100 printer and the documentation says it is an Airprint compatible printer but it is not on the Airprint list. What's going on? I have set it up to operate wirelessly from my laptop and I need to use it with my iPad.

I see that on the page with the compatible printers supported by the Airprint application, the product MG3100 is not mentioned. In this case it seems that you will not be able to use it as an Airprint compatbile printer, however there is an application which emulates your printer as a compatible one which is called FingerPrint. Install the software on your iPad and let the software make your printer compatible with Airprint. From that point you will have all the options available like it was a compatible printer.
