I believe that QuarkXPress use the Windows fonts for anything that is related to Text Input, therefore copying symbols from Bijoy Bayanno into the software won't do much and strange characters will appear instead.
If you can install the font into the Windows directory, then Bijoy Bayanno can be used normally.
