Adding titles to a picture.

I have the ArcSoft Photo Impression 4 System. I am archiving old family pictures. Once I save the picture, I want to add names, dates etc. to the picture. I have figured out how to add "Text" on the face of the picture. I do not like this. Is there a way to add Text under the picture? Maybe in a margin? I do not want the words on the face of the picture and when I print, I do not want the words to be on the photo prints.

I've checked the user guide for the version 5 of this software since the link for 4 is broken on the official website and it appears that you can add various texts to your images in all kind of shapes and sizes. I recommend checking the help section of the software to see all the available options when it comes to text manipulation.
