You have to install the School Minder application and then log-in with a valid username and password to be able to access its functions. I did that, but it's impossible for me to log-in, therefore I couldn't really say if it supports Excel importing or not.
If by any means you have a username and password and can log in, access the main menu of the software to look for Import function.
Note: Look in the installation directory for user guides in PDF or CHM format.
