I've installed Embrilliance Essentials and the only way to send the designs to the machine is with another tool since this one doesn't feature a direct connection to the machine nor can you set one up.
You can access the File menu and then choose various options that allow you to save to a different format. From what I've seen, the software supports the generally used format called PES.
