Why does MT4 crash?

Hi, why is it every time I try to load an EA on the chart, MT4 crashes? Thanks!

There are many causes why the MetaTrader4 crashes when you're loading something:

  • bug in the application - install all the available updates using Help > Check for updates.
  • corrupted data - redownload the data or notify the developers.
  • corrupted application - reinstall MetaTrader using its official setup or migrate to version 5 if it's possible.
  • virus infection - scan your PC using the built-in/custom antivirus installed on your PC.
