Compatible with Windows 10, but the mouse lag is terrible.

It is true, the older version will work fine except the mouse lag is terrible. Nothing I do seems to fix this lag and the further into the game you get, the mouse lag will absolutely get in the way of beating that timer. I have the older version of the game I purchased several years ago and absolutely love the game, but simply cannot play it with the mouse lag. I did notice that the sample game has no mouse lag at all and I'm hopeful there is a driver that can fix this?

I believe this happens because of compatibility problems. Even if a game will install and run properly, its functionality might be affected since no dedicated version has been released for Windows 10. The first thing to do is to set a compatibility tweak. It might not be much, but it will fix the problem in most of the cases.

Right click the shortcut on your desktop and go to Compatibility > Tweaks. Select Windows 7 or XP from the list and then tick the Run as Administrator option as well.

Also, according to the info on the official website you can install the game on the following platforms: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP.
