Password information.

I closed my Quickbooks tonight by accident and it won't reopen without a password. I have the license number, but not sure of the other info and it won't authenticate. I do not remember setting up a password. If I did I'm sure I would have written it on the sleeve with the CD in it. How can I get back into my program? Please help! Not sure when I backed up last!

That issue is caused by the UAC and Windows. When it asks for a password, simply enter the username and password for your Windows account then it should work properly.

I've checked various websites and users complained about this issue as well, but it appears there is something wrong with the UAC. Entering your Windows username and pass will fix this issue you're having.
