I am unable to download the band in a box server where I apparently need to share the MGU files with my iPad.

The server is provided when you buy one of their package and among other client files you will be given instructions how to download and install that server files. As the software is commercial and there is no way to test the product, the best thing to do is to contact support and explain what happens and they will offer support.
