Book moves for engines and tourney engine stops moving

Question

I had a previous version of Lucas chess which worked correctly. Recently I downloaded the latest version 10.09 which doesn't play the book moves for engine, it takes some seconds to move even at the first 10 moves of the game. I searched all over options, but I didn't get the correct option to insert book moves to engines. Plus, for tourney engines, after certain moves it stops moving.

I need more information.
Are you talking about "Play against any engine" ? In this case, which are the option you select in the last tab=Initial moves (are you select a book? )....
