Can version 4.0 be run and installed on a 64bit computer?

Yes. There should not be any problems. If there are install issues install as Administrator and use Comparibility mode if necessary.

I've visited the official website and according to the specifications on the website, you can run the GRI-GLYCalc on the following versions of Windows and architecture: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8.1, and 10 on 32-bit and 64-bit machines.

When installing on Windows 7 and up, right click the setup package and choose Run as Administrator.

It will give exclusive access to the system partition to install all the necessary files.
