What is the need of integration between Simulink and IBM Rational Rhapsody tools?

Simulink is a very powerful tool and it can be used for any system behavior validation before developing it. And IBM Rational Rhapsody also can be used for UML model creations and also do the same behavior validation before developing it. Then why again integration between them is needed?
