The software is not available for downloading. I've visited the old link that pointed to the homepage, but a 404 error page is displayed instead. If you don't know, the 404 error means that the resources that you've tried to access are not there (deleted, moved, discontinued).
Then I've used their search functions and found the software, but as they've said, you have to contact them to request a trial: http://www.materialise.com/en/medical/software/mimics
No info could be found for the Student Edition.
