Deleting backup files.

I have Fabrik Backup Solutions on an external hard drive that backs up my files/data every week. I was in a situation a couple of times where it wanted me to delete older backups to make room for new ones. Now, the drive is getting short of memory and I don't know how to do that on my own - it hasn't asked me to do it.

The software that you use to create the backups should allow you to configure the way the backups are created. This is the simplest way to manage the storage device on the external hard drive. If you manually delete a file that isn't supposed to be deleted, then all your backups might be in danger, therefore I do not recommend this solution.

Start the software, then go to the Help section to read about the way the software handles the backups.
