This is a quote on the developer's website: "Presenter is not compatible with newer web browsers that restrict or limit the use of plug-ins."
As you can see, Edge is pretty new and Chrome is very restrictive wits its extensions. This could be the reason why the developers didn't create an add-on compatible with the mentioned browsers.
