What is this program for?

I have no idea what this program is or what it's for? Can anybody tell me?

The Standard X64 Components is actually a package that contains various codecs and filters for seamless playback on your PC when you're using a certain video player that has the capability of taking advantage of the built-in codecs.

The codecs can enhance MKV playback and enable additional options for your video files.
