We have purchased quantity 2 1500va UPS to support a flight simulator system. I cannot get either UPS to connect to a computer using the USB port. It tries to communicate and then fails. Communication is set to 'single phase UPS USB'. Computers are running Windows 7, 8 and 10. Any suggestions?

There are two possible causes for this issue:

  1. Cable - if you've tested the UPS for multiple computers then it means there is something wrong with the cable because we can't say all the PCs are faulty and USB ports are not working. It's a very low chance for that to happen.

  2. Drivers- if you have CD to install the drivers, then do so and follow the on-screen instructions in order to activate the drivers on the mentioned Windows versions.

    • Compatibility: This might not happen, but there's a very very small chance for compatibility issue between your UPS and your Windows versions. Check the system requirements for your UPS to see the supported versions.
