Several days ago I encountered the problem on my Outlook 2003. My .pst file showed an error - Unable to open your default e-mail folders. I launched ScanPST, but it couldn't completely recover .pst. I need to find .pst repair tool.

You should insist on using the built-in PST file, because there isn't actually a tool to help you fix the PST files, and even if it does it's beyond overpriced and you can also find that after you pay for it, to fail to recover what you need, that's why it's best to avoid them at all costs ignoring the reviews they have or the proof that it works. I never found a tool for PST to work properly and users were mostly scammed.

Try using a compatibility tweak to Outlook. Right click the executable file and go to Properties > Compatibility. Choose Windows XP Service Pack 3 from the list and it should work not. You can do this with the ScanPST file as well.
