This could be a problem with the security settings used when the software is launched. To launch it properly, right click the shortcut and choose Run as Administrator. Observe the behavior and if it gives you the same error, then reinstall the application and make sure to check the system requirements because you might lack some components, therefore giving you launch errors.
I also recommend uninstall the application and its registry leftovers using Revo Uninstaller. Revo will remove everything about the application so you can start fresh afterwards.
