I've checked various websites and it appears that only brochures are available for downloading. There are no troubleshooting documents, downloads, user guides or something to use in order to get the necessary information. If you still have the device, then I recommend using the CD that arrived with it. There should be manuals or something related teaching you how to protect the biometric feature.
