Our network is using WS_Ping ProPack when searching for our servers and brings up our copier. Why would this happen?

This isn't something normal because I experience the same behavior as well and this is caused by the fact that the copier is network enabled which means it has an IP and responds to network packets in order for other users on the network to use it to print or scan various things.

Nowadays devices have network support and WiFi protocols to make it easier for everyone to access it.

Simply exclude it from your search and that's it. It's not unusual behavior to be detected by apps like WS_Ping ProPack.
