Other than put a little box in the corner of my screen, what does McAfee Techmate actually do that McAfee All Access does not do?

McAfee TechMate is an application that, according to the developer's description, is used to tweak and optimize the functionality of your PC from time to time. It's like a system optimization tool that takes care of various things like: cleaning junk files, optimizes registry, closes apps that are not needed, etc.

Although I am skeptical about McAfee products, sometimes they did the job according to its description.

On the other side, McAfee All Access is a subscription that gives you unlimited access to various services and products from McAfee.

It told about three errors tha t were fixed, including a hard drive error. Report error , yes. Fix error no. I had to replace the HDD with an SSD then spend nearly a week restoring programs. The computer will no long shut off through Windows.
