It's impossible to say if proAIS2 will work with the ICOM MXA-5000 because it's not specified the AIS model found in the ICOM MXA-5000. The proAIS2 supports AIS650 chip and if you know that the device you have is based on this chip, then yes, you can use it to diagnose and perform various tasks for COM Ports.
Additionally, you will need the drivers for the AIS to be recognized and ready for installation.
