The software you're referring to is actually listed as the drivers for the device. You can download the drivers from the link posted below, but before doing that, go to Start > Run > devmgmt.msc and right click the item listed with a question mark. Choose Update Driver and make sure that you are connected to the Internet. If the driver is stored in the DriverCache, then it should be restored automatically, or downloaded from the Windows Update.
