There is nowhere explained how to comment a command line, but I believe that you can use the same comment symbols found in other applications as well. You can either use rem or #. In most of the cases, the double slash symbols are used to comment a line or to add a comment after them. It's mostly used in programming and I've seen it working in other applications as well that have no connection with programming or IDE.
