According to various reports on the Internet, this issue is strictly related to the language used in the software. If you have the possibility, go into the Settings/Options menu and switch between languages a few times, then use the software again as it is. This is the only fix known for this type of error. Additionally, the software might be discontinued because I didn't find anything about it (website, documents, contact info, troubleshooting data, etc).
If you can launch the application, go to Help > About to get in touch with the developers. This way you can ask for official fixes directly from them.
