Will not burn to DVD+R

Question

VHS to DVD Deluxe 3 will not burn to DVD+R disc. Says DVD disc is not compatible. What to do?

This could happen because of 2 reasons:

• The DVD+R is not supported by the application, which I doubt this is the case.

• The DVR+R is not supported by your DVD-RW device which is more plausible.

If you have the possibility, get the model make and number of your DVD-RW device and paste it on Google to see all the supported DVDs, then you can replace it as necessary. I've encountered this issue as well and I had to replace the device to burn certain discs (DVD+R DL).
