HMR2300 not working on Windows 8.

I've been using the HMR2300 on a Windows XP laptop since 2008. The XP laptop is now dead. I'm trying to get the HMR2300 working on a Windows 8 laptop, but with no luck. Will the HMR2300 work on a Windows 8 laptop?
