Yes, you can use the same code to activate the application as long as you install the application on a supported operating system, but things tend to complicate if, for example, the requires online activation and the servers that manage this operations are offline. Simply install the software and input the number. If it gives you errors related to activation, then you might have to contact the developers if it's still possible.
