The YouCam application doesn't have certain requirement related to supported webcams. On the Specs page, next to the supported devices is says the following: Web camera (built-in or external USB). As you can see, if the webcam you're having is installed properly and working, then it should work with the software as well.
Before buying, contact the developers and ask them if there is a refund in case the webcam is not compatible with the software.
